Biography
Educational qualifications include Ph.D., M.Phil.N., M.Sc.N., B.Sc.N. Research agenda includes: 1) co-developing self-management and health promotion through patient engagement in care and an equity lens; 2)focused initiatives of applying self-determination and meaningful experiences in nurturing, caring and healing for clients and caregivers; 3)Developing strong connections and fostering optimal professional relationships for co-creating a foundation in comprehensive cancer care. Research projects comprise of SSHR Xchange Grant: Knowledge Mobilization: Community Engagement and Knowledge Translation Summit on Emotional Wellness and Navigation Services for Cancer Survivors and Caregivers. Internal Research Fund - Knowledge Synthesis: A Systematic Review on Breast Cancer Survivorship and Support for Immigrant Women with Breast Cancer. Health Research Cluster Grant - Clinical Research: The Financial Burden and Outcomes of Existing Oncological Care in Kamloops B.C. and Alternative Prophylactic Patient Engagement and Care Examination. A Breast Cancer Case Study.
