Victoria Forster, PhD

Biography
Dr Forster gained her PhD in leukemia genetics in the UK and now works as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Tabori lab at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto. She currently works on a number of projects involving DNA repair-deficient cancers, mainly focused on children with germline cancer predisposition disorders. She has also previously published work on the neurotoxic effects of chemotherapy and as a childhood cancer survivor herself, is passionate for more work on late effects and the development of kinder, less toxic treatments as well as more care for cancer survivors.
