Biography
PerriTutelman is a PhD student in Clinical Psychology at Dalhousie University. Her research is based at the Centre for Pediatric Pain Research at the IWK Health Centre with Dr. Christine Chambers. Perri's clinical and research interests include pain in pediatric oncology, patient engagement in research, and implementation science. Her doctoral work is focused on understanding the pain experiences of childhood cancer survivors using qualitative and experimental pain methods. Perri’s work has been supported by several provincial and national organizations including the CIHR Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship program, Research Nova Scotia and the Beatrice Hunter Cancer Research Institute. She was the 2016 recipient of the Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation’s Colleen Elliott award for Excellence in Cancer Research.
